May I through the medium of your magazine thank Linda and Mark, proprietors of La Cloche Hotel Guernsey, for the lovely two day break my husband and I enjoyed at their hotel. A wonderful prize I won in the August edition of Prizes Galore.

We received a very warm welcome from Linda and Mark and although it was October, the sun shone and we were able to swim every day in the lovely heated pool with the water at 88 degrees.

Our thanks also to Condor Ferries for return car and passenger tickets to travel between Weymouth and Guernsey.

This was a wonderful prize to win and I hope the start of many more to come.

My wife and I would like to say a great big thank you for my recent prize of a Two Night Break in Jersey for two persons.

We decided that Jersey was a long way to go for two nights, so we asked The Royal Hotel if we could extend our stay to four nights if we paid the extra and they happily agreed.

Condor Ferries were also happy to agree to a longer stay.

Unfortunately due to bad weather on 26th/27th the Condor Express from Weymouth was cancelled but the operators booked us on a conventional ferry from Portsmouth.

The Royal Hotel, St Helier was fantastic. We were given a suite of rooms, instead of just a bedroom as we had expected and the five course cordon bleu dinners each evening were just out of this world.

Please find enclosed a couple of photographs of us enjoying our prize which we used as a chance to do some walking on the island.
